Diagnostic Audiology Evaluations
Comprehensive hearing evaluations include air and bone conduction testing, recorded speech audiometry, otoscopy, and tympanometry as needed to accurately assess hearing and guide personalized treatment recommendations.
Hearing Aid Consultations
We’ll begin by reviewing your hearing test results and answering any questions you may have. From there, we’ll discuss your hearing goals, listening environments, communication challenges, lifestyle, and any dexterity concerns that may influence hearing aid selection. Using this information, we’ll recommend personalized hearing solutions designed to help you stay connected to the people and activities that matter most.
Hearing Aid Fitting
Your hearing aid fitting appointment is focused on ensuring your devices are programmed accurately and that you feel confident using them. We’ll begin by programming your hearing aids to your individual prescription and verify their performance using real-ear measurement (REM), the gold standard for hearing aid verification. This ensures your hearing aids are providing the appropriate amplification based on your unique hearing loss.
We’ll then review your hearing aid features and provide hands-on instruction for inserting and removing your devices, cleaning and maintaining them, using the charger or changing the batteries, and operating any accessories or smartphone connectivity. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions and practice using your hearing aids with the audiologist.
Finally, we’ll review your manufacturer warranty, trial period, and follow-up care plan so you know what to expect as you adjust to better hearing.
Hearing Aid Checks & Cleanings
Regular hearing aid check-ups help keep your devices performing at their best. During your appointment, we’ll thoroughly inspect and test your hearing aids to ensure they are functioning properly. We’ll clean the devices, replace worn components as needed, and perform any necessary programming adjustments to optimize sound quality and comfort.
If you’re experiencing changes in your hearing or difficulties with your hearing aids, we’ll assess the issue and recommend the appropriate solution, whether that’s an adjustment, repair, or manufacturer service. Our goal is to help you get the most from your hearing technology and keep you hearing your best.
